Word from the Pastor

Dear friend!

I am sincerely greeting you!

Our church is not called “Salvation” by chance. Every man coming into this world needs salvation from difficulties and problems, but the thing we need the most is the salvation of our soul and the eternal life with God. This is why the purpose of the teaching and the sermons preached in our church is the healing of diseases, deliverance from addictions, restoration of the relationships in families, and the most important - every man’s meeting with God Who can forgive sins and give the true happiness.

No man is obliged to attend our very church. You can attend any church where you feel good. However, we will always be glad to see both you and your family at our services and also minister to you. Our church is a family having room for everyone. We love you and God loves you! Pray and rejoice, serve and multiply, dream and build up, bring up and love and win always!

Yours sincerely,

Philip Savochka

The senior pastor and the bishop of the “Salvation” churches

The regular water baptism ceremony was held in the “Salvation” church, which is headed by pastor Philip Savochka, in Vyshneve town on 5 September. 24 new brothers and sisters joined the church this day.

We are very glad to greet you!” - pastor V. Naboka noted when addressing the new members of theSalvationchurch. The congratulation to remember for the new church members were the flowers and the Bibles given to each of them. One more special present was the prayer of the blessing said by the church as a sign of admitting them into the spiritual family.

As it was reported before, the water baptism ceremony is held in the “Salvation” church on the first Sunday of every month.

29.07.2010

The “Salvation” church holds the summer holiday camp for youth and children yearly. This year, unlike all the previous years, it was not held in the rented premises, but in the “Tabor” Prayer & Health Centre of the church located near Radomyshl town (Zhytomyrska oblast). About 300 children had the joyous and useful time at the first and third children’s sessions, and more than 200 young people did at the second youth one. Some instructors and coordinators constantly attended to them being near.

The program of the children’s camp was called “Visiting a baker”. The children knew about the entire process of the appearance of bread from the grains to a warm and fragrant loaf in an interesting and theatrical form. A baker told them about all the stages of the process of baking step by step and paralleled them with some spiritual truths daily. To make it more obvious and memorable the children were involved in some visual studies. They really took some flour, salt and water to make the dough. Then they used it to make different biblical characters. One of the days the children had the prayer for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Almost all children got baptized and the ones who had been baptized earlier got renewed in it.

Besides the spiritual program the children were involved in some interesting and instructive games. They did some morning exercises and played football, field hockey, badminton and other outdoor and sport games every day.

Another interesting event was the “birthdays” night. All camp celebrated all the birthdays at the same time! 18 cakes decorated with candles and fireworks were made for this event. After singing the congratulatory song “Happy Birthday to you!” everyone had the joyous time drinking some tea with the cake and merrily sharing their impressions about the nicely spend time with each other. The pastors and the ministers of the church visited the children every evening. In particular, the guests of the camp were pastor Valeriya Budai, Roman Korniiko, Volodymyr Tsyvyliuk, Iryna Shorohova, Mykola Savchuk, Tetyana Keba and Natalia Savchuk. They brought the word from the Lord to the children and shared it at the common children’s services.

The youth session was held under the slogan “Real Life!” The boys and girls found out what the life of a true Christian must be during ten days of their rest.

One of the bright events of the rest was the election of the camp’s president. Olexii Savochka gained the victory over other candidates by arousing the interest of the voters by his program and the promises to hold some appreciable reforms. He really kept his promises afterwards!

The youth and children were in the atmosphere of the constant spiritual support and exhortation every day. God’s presence and blessing were sensed in the camp right from the first services and the sound of worship.

The senior pastor of the church Philip Savochka visited the youth in the camp and besides the spiritual food in the form of the sermon teaching that the important things must always remain important he prepared a surprise for everyone. He arranged a volley-ball tournament. The instructors and the ministers won it with the great disparity in score. Also, the pastor suggested that a ‘lazybones day’ should be held in the camp. So, the youth had an opportunity to take a rest up to 11.00 a.m. of the next day and then everyone went to a pond and idled at the beach for the rest of the day.

One of the features of the camp was the workshops by interests. The singing, playing guitar and drums, dancing, dramatic art, photographing and visage arts are the workshops where the young people delightfully learned the new things and discovered their gifts and talents. The youth was constantly in motion. Different tournaments were held daily.

Besides, different pastors, the church ministers and some invited guests visited the camp every day. Pastor Tetyana Keba, Roman Korniiko, Volodymyr Chernopyskyi from Kamenets-Podolskyi city and Andrii and Maryna Bilonozhko from Kyiv city shared messages with the youth. A saxophone player Oleg Nazarchuk joined the musicians at the time of the worship and Tetyana Shylova and Oleg Maiovskii ministered by singing.

The yearly culmination of the camp is the special service called “Tabernacle”. One of its features is that the children and youth go through the main spiritual program of the camp before this service being prepared and open for the changes which God usually makes in their hearts each time during the “Tabernacle”. This year theTabernacleheld at the youth session was an especially blessed service. There were many important events at it. The service began with two separate seminars for boys and girls. The young people openly asked some questions that disturbed them and the pastors gave the exhaustive and wise answers. The senior pastor Philip held the seminar for the boys and his wife, pastor Nina Savochka, held the similar seminar for the girls. After getting the answers to all of their questions the youth turned their hearts and attention to the Lord in praise and worship.

Then everyone participated in the Communion and took the notes with the Biblical references and prophesies, prepared by the pastors beforehand, and prayed that the word he or she would read may be a real personal revelation and prophesy from the Lord. The ones who needed extra explanation could speak to the pastors who were ready to explain the meaning of each note. When everyone received a word of instruction or prophesy the senior pastor anointed the young people with oil as a sign of being set apart for the ministry to the Lord. Everyone lit his/her candle from one big candle and then carried it to a symbolical big wooden cross leaving it at its foot. Pastor Tetyana Keba explained to the youth that the fire of the Holy Spirit that they had received in the camp is to be carried further that it may kindle the hearts of other people for the Lord.

After that the youth had some free worship. Someone just prayed and someone else sang or read the Word of God. After the end of the service everyone returned to his/her room and continued to share the impressions about the service and tell each other the exhortations and prophesies they had received through the notes. All of them were impressed by how much the words from God had coincided with everyones needs.

So, besides having the fun, sport games and entertainments in the camp the young people have also been spiritually renewed there. They have burnt with God’s fire in the new way. They will recall this wonderful camp for a long time preparing for and looking forward to the next one, but now is the time to realize everything they have learnt and received from God for this short but such a blessed period of the rest!

28.07.2010

The testimony about God’s power showed at the service of healing and deliverance on 25 July, 2010.

Sergii telling:

There was a time in my life which is painful for me to recall about. I was addicted to alcohol although I did not consider myself an alcoholic. I did not take any medical treatment and I thought I was a usual normal person though I used to drink daily and especially at weekends and holidays. Every morning I would say to myself that I would not drink, but then I grew weak in the evening and I got drunk again.

Another addiction that I had was stealing. I worked at an enterprise which produced flour and I just could not keep from stealing. I used to steal flour, bran and just anything which was kept badly. It looked like drug addiction… To pass by the guards, to take the stolen things out of the enterprise and then to sell them – all this troubled me much and created some tension which I then needed to relax by something. Of course, I relaxed by drinking. I would go out and get drunk not paying attention to my family.

Liudmyla, the Sergiis wife, telling: I got married in 1983 for love, but some disillusionment filled my life in time. I did not want to live although I had a child, because my husband would get drunk every day. My and my daughter’s life bore a strong resemblance to sitting on a barrel with gunpowder, for we did not know what was in store for us during a day. The life turned into the hell on earth…

Sergii telling:

I looked into my wifes eyes and I could obviously see some hatred towards me. And it was completely justified. My life and deeds made her look so.

Of course, I did not want to have such a life, but I did not see any way out. This very languishing generated in me the desire to seek for God. I knew one lady whose name is Galina for many years because I had constantly used to buy vodka from her. One day, just before Christmas, I came to her place for a regular portion and she gave me an invitation to the “Salvation” church instead of vodka.

It was Christmas next morning and I together with my wife went to the church for the first time.  The things that happened in the church have changed my life forever. I liked everything I had seen and heard in the church very much despite the fact that I understood very little of it. When the alter call was made I sat down that nobody may have noticed me, but I heard a voice inside me saying, “This is the very thing you have wanted!” “Yes, I did!” I said. “Then stand up and go!” the voice continued, and I replied, “Ok, I will go!”

Liudmyla telling:

When we came to the church I did not realize what was going on yet. I though that my sinful husband was the one who needed it, because I considered myself a righteous person. I continued to expect that he would get drunk again every evening, but the time went by and he did not drink. It was a real miracle for me.

Sergii telling:

When I and my wife sincerely repented before God our life changed completely. I sensed that I do not want to drink any more in the very first day after the repentance. Those of you who know what the alcoholic slavery is will understand me well. The evening came, however I did not want to drink! I was very impressed and I realized that the thing that had happened to me was not just a ritual, but the work of the power of God. I got completely absorbed into the new life in the church and began to serve God. The only thing that connected me with my old acquaintances is my testimony because I began to help the people having the same kinds of addictions I had used to have right after my repentance. This is how God began to use me in the rehabilitation ministry gradually.

Seeing the miracles that God was doing in my life I hoped that He would also change the relationships between me and my wife. We consulted some ministers a lot and I was recommended to take notice of my pride. At first I could not understand what the matter was, but then God showed me that my very pride had prevented me and my wife from building up our family in the right way. I did not pay attention to my wife being completely preoccupied with myself right from the beginning of our family life. Therefore I understood that for me to have the real relationships I had to learn to understand and love her.

Liudmyla telling:

I took the great offence at my husband. I used to hate him. Even a little conflict could easily cause hysteria and draw tears. But once I heard a sermon by pastor Philip saying that a man who does not forgive does not inherit the Kingdom of God. I was scared because I understood that I may have not got to heaven owing to my attitude towards my husband. I began to ask God to help me to forgive. Some time passed and I became free from it! Even if we had a usual everyday conflict I just could not take any offence at my husband any more. Resentment and hatred have left my life forever.

Sergii telling:

Before, I and my wife often abused each other and could have no communication for months. However, God gradually changed us. He gave us patience towards each other. I know for sure that we would have never succeeded without God’s help. Our relationships constantly changed for better. Eventually our family became an example for following and we were invited to the “Father’s House” where we have already lived for five years showing the little orphans an example and model of the Christian family and love.

Liudmyla telling:

Today our whole family lives with the Lord. Sergii is a rehabilitation pastor. I help him. So do our two daughters. I believe and know that we will serve the Lord until the end of our days.

Sergii telling:

To say that I am just a happy man means to say nothing. I pray crying before God and thank Him that He is in my life every morning. I bathe in Gods mercy and grace. I have not deserved it, but I realize that God is so good that He has loved each of us despite who we were and what we did before meeting Him. He can lead out of any hopeless situation and replace old things with absolutely new ones. The new feelings, relationships and life are what God has given us!

27.07.2010

The evangelistic service of healing and deliverance was held in the “Salvation” church on 25 July again. It began with the following words of a hymn “Glory and honor and praise to God and His Lamb forever!”

When addressing the present ones with the words of greeting pastor Valerii Saraniuk said, “God wants us to be especially sensitive and attentive to His voice and then He will show His mercy to us without fail!”

Whose words will you believe?” the praise group headed by pastor Ganna Ponochevna sang addressing the church. “We will believe the Word of the Lord!” the church answered in one accord.

As ever, there was a video clip showing a story about Gods miracle which happened in one family. It was the story about Sergii and Liudmyla who experienced the special grace of God when He delivered Sergii from chronic hard drinking and restored the true feelings of love and respect in their family which had been destroyed for the years of Sergii’s alcoholism and his wife’s hatred towards him. You will have an opportunity to read the full text of this testimony in the “News” section of our web-site soon.

After the video clip the heroes of this story came upon the stage to the applause of the church. Pastor Mykola Savchuk asked them to tell the people who are still in the captivity of sin how to be delivered from it. Sergiy and Liudmyla advised everyone to believe in God wholeheartedly and ask Him for help and then the Lord will give the answer and power to struggle against sin and overcome it without fail.

The church said the prayer of blessing for the happy couple.

Help me! I have the last hopes for I am dying without You, Lord!” the church sang in the deep worship.

Pastor Tetyana Keba preached this day. She shared the message called “Incredible deliverance”.

The sermon turned into the prayer for healing and deliverance of people. The deep worship to the song called “At the Cross” went on during this prayer. Many people at both services testified that they had sensed how God touched them and healed them of their illnesses or delivered from the fears and addictions. In particular, there were some testimonies about the disappearance of the heavy pains which had worried some folks for a long time. The people told that pain in the spine, some inner organs, head and stomach had disappeared. Some were delivered of the lingering depressions and the fear of the unknown which had worried them for years. One young man who came to the church service just for the second time told that he had been addicted to drugs, but any desire to take them disappeared after the prayer.

Pastor Tatyana called the people who need the repentance to come forward. Many people responded to the altar call at both services saying the prayer of repentance as a token of their reconciliation with God.

The service ended with the prayer of thanksgiving and the Lord’s Prayer.

20.07.2010
We are waiting, God! Reveal Your glory to us now!” were the words of the song which opened the central service of the “Salvation” church on Sunday, 18 June.

When greeting all the present ones at the service pastor Valerii Naboka read a passage from the Bible, Hebrews 6:9-12, and said, “The Bible says that the salvation is very important for us! We must always be careful that no sin, vanity or problems could distract us from following Christ and, as the result, deprive us of the eternal life. It is important to serve God and people because the Lord remembers and values our service. Therefore, let us perform it with fervency which does not weaken. It will help us to inherit God’s promises!”

The praise group led by Mariya Suschuk sang and called the church, “Every knee will bow before Him! Nations and peoples will worship the Holy One!”

This time some guests from Holland visited the church. The team consisting of 18 people led by Vilma Van Rolken, who is an old friend of the church, had come to the “Father’s House” on a voluntary basis and they came to the service.

When making some announcements pastor Mykola Savchuk told the church about the state of affairs at the youth shift of the rest camp which is going on in the Prayer & Health Centre of the church near Radomyshl town. After the end of this current shift there will be the third shift for children. Therefore pastor Mykola invited everybody who would go to participate in it to come forward to the stage. The church said the prayer of blessing for the children and instructors.

Also, pastor Mykola reminded that the regular water baptism ceremony will take place soon, in particular, on 8 August. Pastor Mykola explained what the water baptism is and why it is necessary for those people who have not entered the covenant with God yet. “No relationships are reliable unless they are backed by a contract!” he said, “Even if companies trust each other greatly they sign documents confirming their contracts anyway! If there is no contract and mutual promise then there are no reliable and trustworthy relationships. The same is true about relationships with God. He wants us not only to be friends with Him. He expects for serious relationships backed by the water baptism!”

Pastor Mykola called the church to say a prayer for those people who are preparing for the baptism or still hesitating about receiving it.

Then pastor Yuri Tsyvyliuk made an announcement that a regular evangelistic service of healing and deliverance would take place in the “Salvation” church next Sunday. He read the story written in the Book of Acts 8, verse 26 and on. It says that God told apostle Philip to go to a solitary road at midday. There he met an Ethiopian eunuch who was in charge of all the treasury of the queen of the Ethiopians at that time. “Philip could have given up going to the unknown roadway at that hot time of the day. But God knew that he would meet the important man there, witness about Christ to him and baptize him. The same thing applies to our life, i.e. if we listen to the Lord then He will lead us there where we will meet people longing to know God!” pastor Yurii explained. He invited the people, who are planning to receive the concrete directions from God through the prayer concerning where to go and whom to witness to during the next week, to come to the stage. The church said the prayer of blessing for the evangelists. They were given special invitations and the leaflets with instructions about the practical part of the evangelization.

“I will find peace in You, Christ. I believe in Your power! Let it rage and thunder, I will soar over the storm with You!” the church sang in the deep worship.

When worshipping, the senior pastor of the church Philip Myhailovych Savochka brought a special gift to Godhe invited the ministers of the church rehabilitation centre headed by Sergiy Gasynyak to come upon the stage and blessed them for the ministry.

Then the service was continued with preaching the Word of God. The senior pastor Philip shared the message called “The main things!” He noted that there are some things which must always remain the main ones in our life. You will have an opportunity to read the full text of this sermon on our web site in the corresponding section soon.

The service ended with many people’s sincere coming to God and the Lord’s Prayer.

20.07.2010

It already became a good tradition of the “Salvation” church to release a CD album with the praise and worship songs yearly. Usually, the fruitful and laborious work of the recording, mixing and arrangement goes during a year and then, at the church’s anniversary being usually held on the last weekends of September, its presentation, which is always a long-awaited event, takes place. It is usually held as a festive concert.

So, theLukerecording studio has prepared the regular present for the church and all those who loves to praise and worship the Lord this year as well. The new CD which is now being completed and revised is almost ready to be out. It has been called “You are the only One!” It will include twelve songs by different authors of the church.

“We have not had something like this yet!” the praise pastor Ganna Ponochevna enthusiastically tells about the new album “The CD will contain accapella songs and other ones of different musical styles. The first song will become a kind of substantial introduction and the last one will conclude all the messages of the album and sound as a blessing for the listeners.  Everyone will be surprised by the styles of the performance and the arrangement of the songs. For instance, one of them will be in chanson style. We expect it to become one of the favorite ones among the drivers of the church!” joked pastor Ganna, “Besides, some new soloists and leading musicians, in particular, a saxophone player Oleg Nazarchuk and the well-known guitarists Vitalii Rustamov and Anton Popov, participated in the recording process. We hope we have managed to do everything possible for the listeners to like this album being intelligible and interesting for everyone. Rock-n-roll, a children’s song, the deep songs of worship, the accapella songs and the evangelistic songs – all these will give an opportunity for every listener to find something familiar and close, new and interesting! We are sure that this CD is much better than all the previous ones!”

Today, the mastering is going on, the printing processed are completing and the papers for getting the copyright are being prepared. In other words, the CD is almost ready! You will be able to see and hear its presentation at the celebration of the church’s anniversary, on 25 September, at 6.00 p.m. The presentation will be held in the form of a solemn concert. All the songs will be performed originally and live. Also the audience will get to know the authors in person.

We invite all who wishes to visit our festivity and enjoy praising and worshipping the Lord together with the performers of the songs of the new album “You are the only One!”

13.07.2010
All power, all glory, all honor belongs to You!” were the words of the song which opened the central service of theSalvationchurch on Sunday, July 11.

When
congratulating the church on the new wonderful day and the opportunity to gather in the temple of God the youth leader Olexandr Savochka invited everybody to turn to his or her neighbors and say, “I am glad to see you!” The church also greeted the first-time visitors and the guests from other churches visiting us at this service.

Brother
Olexandr read verse 8 of Psalm 27 where David calls everyone to seek the face of the Lord and says himself, “Your face, Lord, I will seek!” “To seek the face means to seek God Himself, His nature and manifestation,” Olexandr explained, “But it also means that we need to make efforts in order to find all this!”

The
church wholeheartedly began to seek God’s face and His holy presence from the very first prayer.

“Halleluiah to the Creator of heaven! Halleluiah to the great King!” everyone sang praising the Lord in the songs. The musical group headed by their leader Yevgen Kozakov called the church, “Fill the earth with praise! Praise Jesus in everything!”

Pastor
Olga Synelnikova addressed all the present ones sharing a message based on the passage from 1 Thessalonians (4:15 – 5:1-6). She reminded about the fact that the rapture of the Church will be as sudden as the visit of a robber who is usually not expected by anybody therefore nobody will have enough time to prepare for it. Pastor Olga explained that the expectation of Christ is the ability to be where He is at a particular moment. As it is written that He is among two or three people gathered in His Name then every central service, local church service and home church service are the place where the Lord is and is the rehearsal for the rapture of the Church. “In order to meet with Christ in the clouds we have to learn to be with Him here, on earth!” pastor Olga said, “Why is everything so serious? The reason is that the rapture of the Church will only take place once. There will be no second chance! So, let us prepare for this extraordinary event. Let us not sleep spiritually, but rather wait for the Lord Jesus Christ!”

The program of the service included the ceremony of the dedication of some children to the Lord.
Only God knows His intentions regarding us and our children and the Word of God tell us that they are for our good and not the bad,” said pastor Yuri Tsyvyliuk addressing the parents with the word of edification.

The
church said a special prayer of blessing for the children and their parents and pastor Yuri anointed the children with oil as the token of their dedication. Each child was given the dedication certificate and the children’s Bible. In all, six children were dedicated to the Lord at both services.

As
the first round of the summer recreation camp for children finishes and the second round for youth begins on July 12 pastor Yuri invited everyone going there to the stage. The young people and the instructors came forward and the church prayed for them and blessed them for the journey and the whole rest.

“My
God is the big rock! I am not afraid of anyone now!” everyone sang in worship.

This time pastor Tetyana Keba addressed the church sharing the message. Her sermon was called “The most precious treasure”. It was fluently concluded with a prayer and the church asked the Lord for the renewal in righteousness. Everyone prayerfully worshipped God in the song called “You are beautiful and great” recognizing that the Lord is the most precious treasure of life.”

Pastor Tetyana called the church to say the prayer for the needs and then invited everyone willing to repent before God to come forward to the stage.

The service ended with the prayer of thanksgiving and the Lord’s Prayer.

09.07.2010
A pastor and the president of theFathers Housecharity foundation Roman Korniiko made a solemn announcement at the central service held on Sunday, 4 July. He said that an extraordinary event occurred a few days ago. The young family of Lev and Larysa Dziuba has adopted four children of the “Father’s House”. Yura, Sergiy, Oleg and Lesya have the proper family now!

While
inviting the family up to the stage in the full strength pastor Roman called Lev and Larysa the heroes of faith. And they really are, because to give their love and care to four children at once opening their home and hearts for them is a real step of faith and courage.

God has made these four children happy!” pastor Roman said, “They have already been living with their new parents in the “Father’s House” for a month and everyone is noticing the harmony and consent reigning in this family. They even look like each other!” joked pastor Roman.

The
church said the prayer of blessing and the delegation of the spiritual authority over the life of the children from theFathers Houseand the church to the parents by the Lord and the state.

We
have put Gods values into these children and now we are handing them over to you with that potential which is in them from the Lord. They are the future pastors, missionaries, evangelists and ministers! So, take up this ‘baton of upbringing’ and put in them more than we could!” said pastor Roman in his speech addressing the parent. Then he asked the children, “Kids! Appreciate your father and mother! They are given to you not by people or lucky fate, but by the Lord God and they are much more valuable than the parents who gave you birth!”

After
the prayer pastor Roman heartily embraced each child and thanked the parents once again. The new family returned to their seats with happy smiles upon their faces and a huge bunch of flowers to the loud cheers of the church.

The central service of theSalvationchurch held on Sunday, 4 July, began with the words of a famous Christian hymnGlory to the Almighty God! He was, He is and He is to come!”

While
greeting the church pastor Iryna Lytovchenko said, “The most precious of all that God has had is His one and only Son Jesus Christ. He gave Him as the sacrifice for you and me! There is no greater price that could be paid for people’s lives than this!”

The church thanked God for His love and sacrifice in the first prayer.

The
praise group led by pastor Ganna Ponochevna went on with this theme singing, “Your great love warms me! Your great love embraces me! Your great love holds me by the hand! The great love, Your great love!”

During the time of the announcements pastor Yuri Tsyvyliuk told the church that the children who had recently gone to the summer camp for the first shift got there well and now they are enjoying the rest in the comfortable conditions.

Then
pastor Yuri presented to the church a new married couple who had their wedding just a few days ago and he invited everyone to say the prayer of blessing for them.

A
guest from Byelorussia Olexandr Gusiev ministered to the church with singing in the free program. He performed two songs called “Past the scorched ruins” and an evangelistic “Why have you gone away?” He called all the people who had not known the Lord yet not to leave the service without the repentance and meeting with Him.

Then
pastor Roman Korniiko told the church the joyful news that a young couple had adopted four children of the “Father’s House” the other day. He invited them to the stage and the church said the prayer of blessing for them delegating the spiritual care for the kids to the parents.

The service was notable for one more important event. 23 new brothers and sisters joined the “Salvation” church this day. Pastor Mykola Savchuk invited them to the stage for the congratulations and the prayer. As usual, the pastors of the church congratulated the new brothers and sisters with flowers and gave them the Bibles and certificates and then everyone who wanted rushed to the stage with their wishes and presents.

Pastor
Mykola addressed the ones who had been baptized, “Imagine that you have bought a very expensive and necessary thing. You paid an enormous price for it because it is really valuable for you. Of course, you will look after it and you will be quiet grieved if someone tries to take it from you or steal. God does the same. He paid a very high price for us therefore we do not belong to ourselves anymore. We are the Lord’s ones and He is the Lord of our life! Thus, as we have entered the covenant with the Lord then let us hold on to Him with all our strength and faithfully follow Christ for the rest of our life!”

The church accepted the new brothers and sisters as the members in the prayer and then everyone was congratulating them with applause while they were taking their seats.

Great and Holy God! Everything will bow before You!” the congregation sang in the deep and sincere worship led by the senior pastor Philip Myhailovych Savochka.

He
invited everyone to say a special prayer for the children staying in the rest camp now. The church stretched their hands towards Radomyshl town (that is the location of the Prayer & Health centre of the church where they are resting) and prayed that God’s protection and blessing may be upon our children and their instructors.

When pastor Philip shared the message called “Righteousness and love” he made an announcement that the “Salvation” church is bringing into use the new order of the church discipline. You will have an opportunity to read the text of the sermon in the “Sermons” section soon. The detailed information about the changes concerning the church discipline will be put on the church web-site as the separate news.

At
the end of the service the pastor invited everyone wishing to restore their relationships with God and also the ones feeling they had broken their covenant with God to say the prayer of repentance.

The service ended with the common Communion.

The “Salvation” church holds the away camp for children and youth yearly. This year it will be held in the Prayer & Health Centre of the church located near Radomyshl town for the first time.

Also
, it is the first time when three camp shifts, in particular, the childrens, the youth and the second childrens one will be arranged. One children’s shift and one youth one has been enough so far, but this year the church is planning to give an opportunity to rest and to improve the state of health of about 500 children, therefore the need for the third additional shift has appeared.

The
childrens program which the camp instructors and coordinators have prepared for the children this year is calledVisiting a baker”. Its main motto will be the phrase “God gives us the seeds of faith and what we will bake using them depends on us!”

The
youth shift will be held under the sloganReal life!” The young people will be finding out what the life of the true Christian must be during ten days of the camp.

The
subject of the current July in the “Salvation” church is children and youth therefore all attention will be paid to the young generation. That is why the leading ministers and pastors of the church and some invited guests from other churches will be visiting the camp in their turn daily. Besides, different musical groups and Christian performers will visit the camp during the youth shift.

The
rest promises to be saturate and interesting. Thus, we wish the children and youth to spend their time in the camp usefully and to give rest to their bodies, souls and spirit.

29.06.2010
A regular central service of theSalvation” church took place on Sunday, 27 June. It was the evangelistic service of healing and deliverance which began with the following words of a Christian hymn “We are building up the throne for You (the Lord)! Come and take it!”

In
the speech of welcome pastor Sergii Sergienko encouraged the church, “God said that He is the One Who gives us peace. Perhaps, you have lost this sense of peace and tranquility in your heart because it is very easy to lose it in the present-day world, but remember that God can fill you with His peace and love again!”

In
the first prayer the church opened their hearts before God and thanked Him for the eternal love and the opportunity to be renewed in the peace of the Lord.

Our God is good and merciful! Our God is almighty!” sang the praise group under the guidance of their leader Yevgen Kozakov. The whole church joined the singing and praised and glorified God with the songs.

While
making some announcements pastor Mykola Savchuk reminded the church that the first shift of the summer camp of theSalvationchurch for children and youth will start next Saturday, July 3. This year the camp will be held at the territory of the Prayer & Health Centre of the church which is located near Radomyshl town.

The
church usually blesses the children and youth before the camp, therefore pastor Mykola invited those who are resting or ministering in the camp this year to come forward to the stage. The church prayed and blessed the children’s rest at the first shift and also asked God to protect every child and the minister. The congregation also blessed the team of the instructors and coordinators of the camp and all those people who will minister to the children during their rest as volunteers.

Then
pastor Tetyana Keba presented to the church a video testimony. You can read its brief contents below:

Thousands of people pass past us daily… Who knows what they think about? What goes on in their souls? Everyone tries to cope with his problems on his own, but often gets entangled in them still more. This is what took place in the life of our hero.

Roman tells
:

My mother and father have given birth to five children and I am the youngest son. My father worked as a conductor and my mother worked in the fields at a collective farm. I remember that the father was always absent and when he returned home after trips it was obvious he had drunk much there. This is how we grew… Frankly speaking I did not want to be a drunkard because I saw the negative example of my father.

After
the school I went to serve in the army and when I returned I began to work and arrange my private life, drink alcohol and carouse…. Infirmities and sin began to take roots in my life more and more. I wanted to live jollier and easier. I used to drink and then forget everything that had depressed and discouraged me before. I was on my own enduring everything inside.

Loneliness and purposelessness of Roman’s life made him drink more often.

The more I drank alcohol drinks the more it drew me into the addiction. I needed to take a drink every morning-after and the time came when I could even kneel before a man begging him to give me a few dollars for a bottle of alcohol. It seemed to me that if I did not have it than I would go mad.  I was persecuted by thoughts of hurting other people like stabbing someone with a knife or a broken bottle, etc. I did not understand the reason for doing that, but such thoughts constantly harassed me.

Being driven to despair Roman began to pray to God in the way he knew and could. He asked the Lord to deliver him from the alcohol addiction and God answered him. The thirst for drinking disappeared miraculously and completely, but instead of going to a church and devoting his life to Jesus Christ Roman continued to live in his own way.

Once I was suggested to be involved in so-called integral yoga and I felt for it very much. At that time I did not realized that I was moving away from God more and more.

Thus, even more terrible problem entered Romans life in place of hard drinking. When he fell for yoga his former thoughts about killing and suicide returned in a more intensive form.

One morning I woke up having a desire either to go and kill people or to commit a suicide.  Previously such thoughts had come to my mind only a day after hard drinking, but now I lived having them constantly being unable to stop them because I understood they used to come from an evil power. I was afraid of myself and I was dreaming of the normal life. This state lasted for three days. I could have not asked anybody for help because doctors would have sent me to a madhouse right away and the police would have had no reason to isolate me in any way because I had not committed any crime… So, I said to myself, “I will not hurt anybody. I would better commit suicide!” I was ready to grab a knife and stab myself into the very heart, but at the last moment I remembered the words said by one woman who had once told me that God loves me very much. The desire to live overcame and I, standing in the middle of the kitchen, turned to Christ.

Roman remembered that the daughter of his acquaintance, that was Tanya Keba, attended a church. He called her and asked to meet with him. While talking with pastor Tanya Roman opened his heart and shared his worries.

I sincerely trusted in Tetyana and told her about my problems. She suggested that I should pray the prayer of repentance and I gladly agreed. To tell the truth, my life did not change right away. I began to read the Bible and sometimes, when the old thoughts tried to knock at my mind again I forced myself to read the Word of God. God gradually delivered me from all the persistent thoughts during one month.

This time having the answer from God Roman understood that he must have not repeated the former mistake. He came to the church and really began to serve God.

The true sincerity of the people whom I saw here helped me to remain in the church. This sincerity was seen in their eyes, smiles and their attitude to each other. It “threw” my soul because I had not seen such sincerity anywhere in the world.

Once being a lonely person pastor Roman has found the real friends. He felt that he is needed and he found the purpose of his life.

I wanted to do something for the Lord, serve Him and be needed so much! I did not want to waste my time and just sit back in the church because I aspired to thank God for what He had done for me in some way. At first I was a home group leader, then a deacon, then I became a regional pastor and now I am the pastor of a church. God has polished my heart in the ministry for all this time.

I am thankful to God for being a happy man now! What is my happiness? I love God and people. I
serve and know that I am needed!

After the testimony pastor Tetyana Keba invited pastor Roman unto the stage. He brought and gave her a bunch of flowers in token of thankfulness for helping him to turn to God once. Pastor Tetyana remembered their meeting and the significant talk which changed the course of Roman’s life, “Ten years has passed since that time, but I still remember the prayer of repentance which you said!”

Sister
Tetyana encouraged the people who are witnessing, but do not see any fruit of their evangelization and prayer, not to be disappointed because pastor Romans story is a good example showing that a man can remember the words of the Good News in the most crucial moment of his life. Also, pastor Tetyana emphasized how important it is for a person to be in a church, remain among the people of God and begin to serve the Lord after the repentance.

Roman
wished everybody who is still unsure where to go to make their choice and choose the way with God leading to the eternal life.

The church said the prayer of blessing for pastor Roman. Everybody was praying that God may use him in the ministry to people still more.

“I will bring to You all my pain and grief… I am looking for help of the miracle Maker!” the church sang in worship.

The sermon which the senior pastor Philip Myhailovych Savochka preached this day was called “Achan’s curse”. It was a challenge for all those people who being the church members have forgotten about the fear of the Lord and try to combine righteousness and sin in their life. As it is known “sweet and bitter water cannot flow from one and the same spring” therefore pastor Philip told what consequences such attitude to God’s commandments and the covenant with Him can have on the basis of the Old Testament story about Achan.

After
the sermon the pastor called everybody whom this message had touched and helped to understand their faults to repent before God and then go and tell his or her leader about them after the service.

The
pastor also offered a prayer of repentance to the people who had come to the church for the first time, have been at the services for a few times or have abandoned God. Everyone willing to say such a prayer came forward to the stage where the pastor helped them to pray.

Then the service continued with worship. Everyone was calling to God Who delivers and heals people. Pastor Philip led the prayers for healing and deliverance and the people who sensed that God had answered their prayers at least 70% testified about it by raising their hands.

The service ended with a prayer of thanksgiving for God’s manifestations and answers.

TheNew Lifechurch celebrated their 18th anniversary one of these days. There was a 3-day festive conference on this occasion held from 18th to 20th of June.

The
senior pastor of theSalvationchurch together with his wife and a team of some ministers visited this festive occasion on pastor Viacheslav Goncharenkos invitation. Pastor Philip Myhailovych Savochka ministered to the church with a word. He preached the message called “God’s knock” at the Saturday evening service and shared a revelation about blessing and curse on Sunday morning. The special present from pastor Philip was the blessings which he proclaimed into the life of the church after the sermon. The church reverentially and joyfully accepted all the words of the pastor’s mouth by faith in their hearts.

In
general, the festive program of the conference was notable for the great number of the greetings and presents, the performances of the children and youth and kind words of the congratulations from the guests and ministers.

We were impressed by the hospitality and openness of the church very much!” shares her impressions Nina Karman, a deaconess of theSalvationchurch who was a member of pastor Philips team, “We liked the very festivities! It felt as if we were at home, and not visiting them as guests, so family-like and homelike was the atmosphere at every service. Also, I especially want to mention the care and hospitality of the pastor’s family. We were really received as their own people!”

22.06.2010
We find strength to live in You alone!” were the words of the Christian hymn which opened the central service of the “Salvation” church on Sunday, 20 June.

It is very important for us to see and comprehend the fullness of Gods love,” pastor Valerii Naboka said in the speech of welcome, “Because Gods love determines who we are and it is shown through the fact that God has adopted us and called us His children. The moment will come when we see the Lord with our own eyes, thus it is worth thanking Him for this incredible opportunity!”

“Your mercy covers me. I trust in the love of the Heavenly Father with all my heart!” the church sang praising the Lord. The praise group headed by pastor Ganna Ponochevna together with the “Miriam” round dance group called the church to the lively praise.

Then pastor Tetyana Keba called the church to pray for those people who are going to receive the water baptism soon. Firstly, she briefly explained to everyone present what the water baptism is and why it is so important. “It is not just a physical ritual,” she told, “Some spiritual processes which we cannot see with our eyes take place at that moment. The Holy Spirit authenticates man’s union with God, i.e. a person devotes his/her life to the Lord Who, in His turn, attaches the person to His nature. This is how a man becomes a part of God’s family.” Pastor Tetyana addressed the people who had not entered the covenant with the Lord yet calling them not to be slow in making this decision and also reminded that the nearest water baptism ceremony would take place in the “Salvation” church on June 4.

The
church prayed for the people preparing for this important step and asked the Holy Spirit to prepare them for this event.

Pastor
Mykola Savchuk made an announcement that a regular evangelistic service of healing and deliverance would take place in theSalvationchurch next Sunday, June 27. He called the ones planning to invite people to this service during the following week to come forward to the stage. The church prayed for the evangelists. They were given the special invitations and the instruction booklets describing the practical steps of the evangelization.

I am calling upon You, my Salvation! I am craving for You, o Lord, with all my heart!” the church was singing in the worship.

Then
pastor Tetyana Keba invited the guest - a bishop and pastor Andrii Tyschenko, who had come to minister to the church with a word and his gift from the Lord, to the stage. Bishop Andrii preached an urgent and cognitive sermon called “Blessing and curse” on the basis of his spiritual experience.

Unfortunately Christians often take such things as blessing and curse too thoughtlessly. They tend to think that everything must be ideal in the life of a believer, but the facts are obvious – we face diseases, problems and confusions as well!” the bishop noted. Using some ordinary people’s life examples that he had personally dealt with he explained the origin of curses and the difference between family curses and acquired curses in detail. He also gave four concrete advices how to get rid of them. Here they are:

1.
To repent of your relativessins.

2.
To forgive everyone who harmed you.

3.
To renounce any bonds with occult world.

4.
To repent of your own sins and receive the forgiveness for them.

Then
the sermon smoothly passed to a prayer led by bishop Andrii. He called the church to go through all four points which he just mentioned in practice. Everybody repented of the sins of their relatives before God, forgave all the people who they had taken offence at and renounced the occult influence and any bonds with unclean powers. Brother Andrii also made an altar call for those needing the personal repentance before God. He helped the ones who had come forward to say the prayer of repentance laying the hands on each of them.

Bishop
Andrii called all the people to pray for the blessing of their families and all areas of their life. Lots of people experienced God’s power and a touch of the Holy Spirit’s during those prayers.

The service ended with a prayer of thanksgiving.

14.06.2010
Praise and honor and glory forever!” were the words of the Christian hymn that opened the central service of theSalvationchurch on Sunday, 13 June.

After greeting the church and all the guests who came to this service pastor Valerii Saraniuk read a passage from the Word of God written in Exodus
34:6-9:

“And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.” Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped. “Lord,” he said, “if I have found favor in your eyes, then let the Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.”

“The Lord called Moses up to the mountain in order to show him the divine values and Himself personally,” told pastor Valerii, “God revealed Himself to Moses as the One Who loves people and forgives sins, but does not leave the sinning people unpunished. Why did God speak with Moses about it before giving the law to His people? The point is that God set particular conditions for the Jews because the long trip to the Promised Land was in store for them. Therefore they had to clarify their priorities. Today God wants to lead us to heaven according to His conditions as well. We should find favor in the Lord’s eyes. We must show God that we strive for obeying Him only and that His will for us is holy by our deeds and desires!”

The church joyfully sang unto the Lord during the time of praise led by the musical group headed by Yevgen Kozakov, “I am singing praises to the King of Kings together with heaven! You are everything for me! My singing is only for You!”

Then there was the ceremony of the dedication of some children to God. While giving some admonition to the parents pastor Yurii Tsyvyliuk said, “God, just like us, wishes blessings for our children, but there is one condition necessary for that. Blessing is the balance between rights and responsibilities. The fact that you are dedicating your children to the Lord today is your right. But you also have the responsibility to sanctify your children by bringing them up and admonishing. You can sanctify them by the Word, prayer and your own life. If we, as parents, fulfill our part then God will fulfill His part by blessing our children without fail!” Pastor Yurii said the prayer for the children with the laying on of hands and anointed them with oil as the sign of their separation and dedication to the Lord. He also said the prayer for the blessing of the parents.

Every
child was given the dedication certificate and the children’s Bible with pictures. In all, 5 children were dedicated to the Lord at both shifts of the service.

Singer
Roman Vaschuk fromGood Newschurch situated in Kyiv city ministered to the church by performing two songs calledPeople need the LordandStoryin  the free program of the service.

Pastor Tetyana Keba made some announcements about the most important events which are in store for the church in the near future and also reminded everyone of the importance of the attendance of the central services, the local churches’ services and the cell groups. Pastor Tetyana called everyone who is not attending any of theses services yet to find the place which will be the most convenient for one to attend and join the spiritual family of God in a local church and cell group without fail.

Then pastor Tetyana invited a guest from Pryluky town whose name is Olexandr to the stage
. While making the brief introduction pastor Tetyana told that once brother Olexandr led a criminal life. He used to take drugs and drink alcohol which heavily influenced his health and he has lost his eyesight completely. Being absolutely despaired because of his state he began to look for help everywhere, but he finally found it only in the Lord. He came to God and repented of his sins and today he ministers to people serving their sentences in prisons and colonies. There he witnesses about God’s love and salvation. Although brother Olexandr is absolutely blind, he lives the life of full value in the Lord and he is a happy man. He shared with the church his plans for the future ministry and encouraged everybody working for the Lord at present to do it with fervency and strong and sincere desire.

“I need only You, Lord!” the church was singing in worship. When everyone was in great awe worshipping the Lord the senior pastor Philip Myhailovych Savochka shared a special revelation that God had given him for this service.

“God promised to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land flowing with milk and honey. I was in Israel,” told pastor Philip, “There seems to be nothing except the scorching heat, red clay and stones…, but there are actually much more different products than in Ukraine! Israel even exports their products to Ukraine! Everything is cheaper in Israel and people can eat their fill, therefore it can really be said that milk and honey flow there. What is the problem with Ukraine?    Why does Ukraine not have well-being and sufficiency at present in spite of owning such strategic reserves of minerals, black earth and nature? God explained it to me through the revelation. We never speak about our land as the promised one! But his land is promised by God for all Ukrainians and other nations living here. We must stop saying everything is bad in our country because our words bring fruits! When you are asked, “Where do you live?” then answer, “I live in the best land flowing with a double portion of milk and honey!” We
have so much fertile land, fresh water and picturesque nature! This is out promised land where God will bless us.”

Pastor
Philip invited everyone to ask God for forgiveness for everybody who had cursed our land and also to repent of our own grumbling about our authorities, roadways and country. He explained that for the changes to come one must believe in it first.

The
church knelt down, repented before God and blessed Ukraine.

The sermon preached by the senior pastor called “God’s knock” will soon be available for reading on our web site.

At the end of the sermon pastor Philip made the altar call. The pastor helped the people, who had responded to God’s knock at their hearts and come forward to the stage, to say the prayer of repentance and then some ministers got to know them and gave them the Gospel.

The service ended with the common Lord’s Prayer.

08.06.2010
The central service of the “Salvation” church that was held on Sunday, 6 June, began with the following words of a song, “We are exalting You, King Jesus! Every knee will bow before You!”

While
greeting the church pastor Valerii Naboka told the story about Christs meeting with Nathanael and noted, “Firstly, people who openly and sincerely come to Him receive their miracle from Him. God makes these miracles that people could receive the confirmation of their faith. Secondly, do not forget to praise Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords when you see your miracle. And finally, know that if you believe then you will receive much more! The future full of God’s miracles is in store for you!”

We are praising our King together!” the praise group headed by pastor Ganna Ponochevna was singing joyfully and the church responded to it with singing and applause for the Lord with one accord.

The program of the service included a solemn event of blessing the new brothers and sisters who had been baptized in the water that very day. The regional pastors and the pastors of the local churches congratulated them with flowers, gave the Bibles and the special baptism certificates. Their families, relatives and friends had an opportunity to congratulate them too. The stage overflew with flowers, presents and the joyful smiles!

While
congratulating everyone pastor Mykola Savchuk said, “The best present that you will receive today is the prayer of the church when you become the members of the Body of Christ, the family of God. I want to wish you faith, hope and love. Where do they come from? The Bible says that faith comes from the Word. Therefore we have given you the Bible, the Word of God, today. Hope comes from the experience that you will receive by the communication with your brothers and sisters in a cell group and local church. Where does love come from then? The Bible says that the Spirit of God fills our hearts with love. The more you will communicate with God the more love there will be in your heart. We wish you faith, hope and love!”

The
church said the prayer of the blessing and the admittance for 26 new brothers and sisters of theSalvationfamily and then congratulated them on this festive event with wild applause.

Then
the church thanked Christ for His holy Blood that He shed on the cross in the profound worship. “The Blood of Christ washes sin away! The power that saves us is the Blood of Christ!” everybody was singing in awe and with sincere thankfulness. The senior pastor Philip Myhailovych Savochka addressed the Lord in the prayer, “How wonderful it is to know that we are not redeemed by dollars, material goods or any other human means. Our value is measured by what was paid for us and it is the Blood of the Son of God!” The pastor also held some prayers for the needs and the healing of the people.

special part of the worship was a special sacrifice for the Lord. “Sacrifice is when a person voluntarily gives out something which is valuable and dear to him/her!” pastor Philip explained. Thus, this day the “Salvation” church brought to the Lord one more sacrifice (devotion, gift), letting the local “Salvation” church, holding their services near “Livoberezhna” metro station in Kyiv city, go for the “independent voyage”. Its pastor Vitalii Fedorenko came up on the stage together with his team of ministers for receiving the blessing and the prayer. “It has already been the third church that we are letting go for their independent ministry!” pastor Philip noted, “But our temple hall does not empty, just like it was in the story with olive oil which did not stop until there were empty jars, but on the contrary, i.e. it fills with people more and more! Praise the Lord for this miracle of multiplication!”

While
congratulating pastor Vitalii and his team on this momentous event, bishop Philip Savochka said, “Brother Vitalii, thank you for your decision to be a pastor. You have chosen neither material security nor a business or political career, but the service to God and people!” Philip Myhailovych also thanked pastor Vitalii’s wife Tetyana and the whole team of the ministers for their support and readiness to do God’s work and shepherd the Lord’s ‘flock’ together with pastor Vitalii.

The central church blessed them in a prayer and let them go in peace. The senior pastor laid hand on each of them and asked the Lord to give them wisdom, faith, patience and fervency for the ministry. “Lord, give them a heart able to hold poor and rich, sick and strong, old ones and children, businessmen and unemployed… May their church multiply up to hundreds and thousands of people!” pastor Philip prayed.

Henceforth
, the localSalvationchurch atLivoberezhnaarea will hold their own central services.

The sermon of the senior pastor called “How to calm down your soul?” will soon be available for reading on our web-site in the corresponding section.

After
the sermon the pastor called the people who had not received the salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ yet or left God for different reasons, to come forward and begin the new life with Jesus Christ by the prayer of repentance receiving the salvation and forgiveness.

The service ended with the common Communion.

The
long-awaited event took place on 5th and 6th of June. The evangelization which was symbolically called “Festival of faith” with the participation of Reinhard Bonnke, who is a well-known evangelist and preacher all over the world, was held in the open in the Friendship of Nations Park in Kyiv. The “Salvation” church joined the preparation and the very holding of this evangelization. In particular, it is important to note that the regular quarterly evangelistic service of the “Salvation” church coincided with the date of the evangelization therefore it was decided to join these two important events. Thus, all the efforts of the church’s evangelists were aimed at inviting people to these evangelistic services. The members of the “Salvation” church organized the transportation of the people to the place of the evangelization bearing the expenses for the leased buses and minibuses. Many people served by their own transport.

There were some speeches of welcome of the pastors from Kyiv at the first service on Saturday, 5 June. In particular, the bishop and the senior pastor of the “Salvation” church Philip Myhailovych Savochka greeted everyone present. He remembered that the revival in Kyiv began at that very place many years ago, for a lot of the water baptism services took place there in 90’s of the past century. That was the origin of many churches that appeared afterwards.

After
some praise and the speeches of welcome the evangelist Reinhard Bonnke addressed everyone with a short word. He presented his successor in the ministry Daniel Kolenda, the evangelist who preached and prayed for the healing that evening.

The
evening service held next day, on Sunday, June 6, continued with the message which Reinhard Bonnke shared with everyone. The key thought of his sermon was God’s truth that He loves everyone and forgives irrespective of quantity and heaviness of one’s committed sins. After the sermon Reinhard Bonnke made the altar call.

Thousands of people heard the Word of God and came to God for two days of the evangelization. Many people got healed. This is the greatest achievement of the “Festival of faith” and the most precious reward for those who made efforts and offerings for the preparation and holding of this event fulfilling God’s will.

The outside school for the pastors was held in the “Salvation” church from 27th to 29th of May. Such an event was held at the territory of the Prayer & Health Centre located near Radomyshl town for the first time. Although the centre is still being built it is quiet equipped in order to receive ministers within its precincts.

About 100 pastors from all the local “Salvation” churches gathered for this pastoral school. The
study was based on the new edition of the course called “Discipleship 4. Pastoral Ministry” written by the senior pastor Philip Myhailovych Savochka.

There
were several services held every day and each service was devoted to the specific subject. In particular, the pastors studied the following subjects during the school: “Pastor’s personal relationships with God”, “Pastor’s family”, “Church administrative management”, “Pastoral ministry”, “Anointing and the counseling gifts of the Holy Spirit” and “Evangelization”. The main speakers of the school were: the senior pastor Philip Myhailovych Savochka, Tetyana Keba, Yuri Babinets, Yuri Savochka and also the guest from Dnipropetrovs’k city – pastor Valentyn (from the “Regeneration” Spiritual Centre” led by pastor Volodymyr Muntyan).

There
was an important moment at the first service of the pastoral school. Pastor Philip Savochka invited all the pastors to hold the first prayer of consecration of the Prayer & Health Centre. Of course, there is going to be the ceremonial consecration which will take place at its opening after the completion of all the works, but as it was the first public arrangement being held at its territory the pastor called all the ministers to say the prayer of blessing and anoint all the entries and exits of both main buildings and also the main gates.

At the end of the course of the pastoral school pastor Philip noted that a few very important things happened during the study. First
of all, dear pastors, we had very deep communication with God here, but remember that changes do not come immediately! Thanks to prayer, we receive revelations from God concerning the methods of putting these changes in practice,” pastor Philip said.

We had very powerful prayers and received the revelations from God during the whole of the pastoral school, but now we must go and put them in practice adapting them to our local churches,” pastor Mykola Savchuk shared his impressions about the study.

The
video recording was made during all the services of the school, so the DVDs containing the full account of the events and the teaching of the pastoral school are available for purchase in the church book-shop.
