Our church is not called “Salvation” by chance. Every man
coming into this world needs salvation from difficulties and problems, but the
thing we need the most is the salvation of our soul and the eternal life with
God. This is why the purpose of the teaching and the sermons preached in our
church is the healing of diseases, deliverance from addictions, restoration of
the relationships in families, and the most important - every man’s meeting
with God Who can forgive sins and give the true happiness.
No man is obliged to attend our very church. You can attend any
church where you feel good. However, we will always be glad to see both you and
your family at our services and also minister to you. Our church is a family
having room for everyone. We love you and God loves you!
Pray and rejoice, serve and
multiply, dream and build up, bring up and love and win always!
Yours sincerely,
Philip

The Christmas festive concert took place in the “Salvation” church!

constantly grow up in the church.
Pastor Mykola Savchuk
and Lika Roman (Miss Ukraine 2007) led the concert. They managed to promote
very natural family atmosphere in the auditory right from the start.
Theprofessionalilluminationanddecorationsgave the temple the special
Christmas mood. There were a lot of people willing to relax and share the feast
of the Birth of Christ the Savior with us. All the seats were taken.
Theprogramoftheconcertbeganwithaninflammatory song called “Joy to the world!” The singers called the
audience to distract from their everyday things and rejoice at Christmas
together with the whole world! “Christ is born!” was pronounced from the stage.
“Let’s praise Him!” the audience replied all together.
In the first prayer
pastor Mykola called everybody to honor the Born Jesus Christ. “We dedicate
this concert to You! Jesus, it is Your name-day today and You are the central
figure here today!” prayed brother Mykola together with everyone.
“Goodevening, folks! MayChristmasblessyou!” were the words of the first carol performed by the praise pastor Ganna
Ponochevna and her singing group. “We wish you love, family happiness, good
health, inner peace and joy at home!” the singers wished to the present
ones.

and the costumes of the participants made it very natural.
Theleadersoftheconcerttoldtheaudiencesomeinterestingstories and asked questions between the performances. In particular,
pastor Mykola asked, “Who of you would like your child to be born in a cattle-shed
next to the animals? Of course, every mother wants her newborn baby to be born
in the most comfortable conditions,” brother Mykola reflected, “But God chose the
manger to be the place for the birth of His Son. Everyone, both the poorest and
the richest ones had the access to it! Mary hardly understood how important the
birth of her Son for the world would be,” said Lika Roman while announcing the
song of the youth group called “Could she imagine it?” which described Mary’s
feelings.
The children’s “Miriam”
dance group gave everybody a wonderful festive dance.
The praise group of the
local “Salvation” church from Fastiv city led by its leader Svetlana Andrianova
performed one of her own songs called “There is nobody like you!” expressing
her feeling of love for Jesus Christ.

faith. “Once, when I was a little girl, I visited a service where I heard the
alter call. That moment my heart began to throb and I ran forward, knelt down
and began to cry and ask God, “Jesus, I want You to live in my heart always!”
The drastic changes happened in me. Even my class-mates noticed it and told me,
“You have become a completely different person!”

hands” momentarily grew up in the auditory!
“So, let us sing a wonderful carol
called “Hi people! Rejoice now!” together,” called pastor Mykola. The praise
group of a Kyiv local “Salvation” church headed by Maria Suschuk helped
everyone to do it. After singing the carol the group performed the famous
Christmas song called “What child is this?” in its original musical arrangement.

Therefore some small packages with sweets were given to all people right in the
middle of the program. The children were especially happy to get them.
“Jesus Christ was born
in a manger. Jesus Christ is the salvation for everyone. Call to Him with your
heart!” the girls of the “Singing hearts” musical group sang.

sang.
“Youalwayswaitfor me, Lord!” The
first performance of this worship song took place at the concert. It was
performed by the praise group headed by the praise pastor Ganna Ponochevna.
Thenavideoclipaimedatfindingtheanswertothequestion “WhatisChristmas?” wasshowntotheaudience. Some usual passers-by answered this
question differently. For some people Christmas is the chance to get together
with their families and eat some special festive dishes. Somebody goes to a
church to light a candle. Children rejoice at their presents and somebody uses
it as a reason for drinking. But what is the real essence of Christmas? The
praise group tried to explain it through a song called “Oh, the truth came down
on earth!”

“For God so loved the world that he
gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but

about God’s plan of salvation for people through the birth of Jesus Christ and
invited all people willing to restore their relationships with God to repent of
their sins. After the following prayer everyone congratulated these people with
loud cheers and the church ministers gave each of them the Gospel and got to
know the new brothers and sisters.
At the end of the
program the leaders of the concert invited all the participants of the concert
to the stage. The senior pastor of the church Philip Savochka came upon the
stage to them. “Iamverypleasedwith everything I saw and heard here
tonight,” pastor Philip said, “So, what did Christ come on earth for?” To
forgive! There is no greater good than forgiveness. When a person forgives then
joy comes, his eyes brighten and it feels as if he performed something great! I
would like to ask all of you to remember a person whom you cannot forgive
something and then forgive him or her at Christmas because God forgives us!”
Pastor Philip thanked all the participants and the organizers of the concert
and blessed everybody through a prayer.
Theconcertfinished with a solemn carol called “Oh, in Bethlehem!” sang by everybody together.
