Our church is not called “Salvation” by chance. Every man
coming into this world needs salvation from difficulties and problems, but the
thing we need the most is the salvation of our soul and the eternal life with
God. This is why the purpose of the teaching and the sermons preached in our
church is the healing of diseases, deliverance from addictions, restoration of
the relationships in families, and the most important - every man’s meeting
with God Who can forgive sins and give the true happiness.
No man is obliged to attend our very church. You can attend any
church where you feel good. However, we will always be glad to see both you and
your family at our services and also minister to you. Our church is a family
having room for everyone. We love you and God loves you!

The senior pastor and
the bishop of the “Salvation” churches

Pastor Viacheslav Goncharenko (the “New Life” church in Minsk city, Byelorussia) visited the “Salvation” church
Thecentralserviceofthe“Salvation” churchheldon Sunday, 24 January began with the words of a song “We are raising the
throne for You by praise! Come and sit on it!” In that way the church was
addressing to the Lord asking Him to become the centre figure of the service.
WhilegreetingeveryonepresentattheservicepastorRuslanMaliutaexpressedhisjoybecauseofthefactthatevenonsuchafrostydayGod’stemplewasfilledwithpeoplewho came to praise the Lord and
worship Him despite of the winter cold.
This time the musical
group headed by Yevgen Kozakov helped the church to praise the Lord with some
joyful songs. The “Miriam” dance group intensified the praise with their lively
dances.
Ayoungcouplewhohadbeenengagedadayortwobeforewasblessedattheserviceandthechurchalso prayed about the blessing for a married couple who had just had
their wedding recently.
BeforetheworshipapastorofthechurchTetyanaKebamadeanannouncementthatanevangelizationserviceofhealinganddeliverancewillbeheldthenextSunday, 31 January. ShecalledeveryonewhowouldbeproclaimingtheGoodNews andinvitingthenewpeopletotheserviceduringthefollowingweektocomeforwardtothestageinordertogettheblessingof the church for this God’s work. “We
often look at a person with our physical eyes and think, “Can God really heal
or change him or her?” But the Lord is able to perform any miracle!” said
pastor Tetyana and backed her appeal with her personal testimony about the
power of preaching the Good News. While praying the evangelists asked God for
courage and faith to witness during the week to the very people who need God’s
interference into their life the most. Everyone who came forward to the stage
got the special printed invitations for the next service. They could give them
to the people when witnessing and inviting the latter ones to the church.
TheseniorpastorPhilipMyhailovychSavochkaledtheprofoundworshipandthechurchsearchedforGod’spresenceandrighteousnesswith all their heart. “Satanlongs for distracting the church
from the true way at any price. He wants the church to be occupied with
politics, business, and social programs. He offers anything to stop the
preaching of the Good News, the healing and deliverance from demons!” The
pastor called everybody to pray and ask God to restore the church’s power and
the main purpose which are to preach the Good News in the world, to heal the
sick and set the captives (addicts) free. Philip Myhailovych
presented to the church our dear guests – Viacheslav Goncharenko, who is the
bishop of the full Gospel churches of Byelorussia and the senior pastor of the
“New Life” church (in Minsk city), and his team of some ministers.
“ItisagreatprivilegeformetoreceivesuchGod’sministersexperiencingpersecutionsfortheirfaithintheirowncountryatpresentas guests in our church. I will
always treat such people with great respect!” the senior pastor said.
PastorViacheslavhadanopportunity to preach. He began with a short testimony about his life
and the beginning of his ministry.
Brothersandsisters, value the freedom that God has given to you in Ukraine! Therewasatimewhenwehad the freedom in Byelorussia
too, but we did not value it in the way we do it now, because there is a law
currently in force in our country which prohibits the Christian believers to
hold their meetings without permission of the corresponding authorities. It
says that such meetings can only be held in four following places: the
religious facilities (church buildings), at cemeteries, crematoriums and places
of pilgrimage. Most of the Byelorussian Evangelical churches do not have their
own church temples, thus you can imagine how difficult it is today to hold the
meetings in our country. Even if a church has their own building they have to
get the permission to gather in it and authorities, in their turn, do not give
such permissions. If a church holds the services breaking this law then the
police come and fine the church for gathering in their own temple. The sum
total of the fines we have paid for a few past years is more than 10 thousand
US dollars.
Aftertheconfiscationofourowntemplewehadtobuyahalf-ruinedbuildingwhichhadpreviouslybeenusedasafarmcow-shed and hold the services there. However the persecutions did not stop
at that point. The authorities continually prevented us from holding the meetings,
but we stood firm and kept on contending for our right to gather for the
services and we gradually restored that cow-shed. But then the authorities made
a decision to take that building from us too. Then our church declared the
open-ended fast and a hunger-strike, i.e. the fast before God and the
hunger-strike before the public as a token of the protest against this
decision.Thepeoplewerereadytodieforanopportunity to have the place for worshipping the Lord! We constantly stayed
in our building for 23 days. The people who were completely exhausted or felt
very ill were taken to a hospital’s reanimation compartment right from the
place by ambulance cars.
ToprotectourchurchsomepastorsofthedifferentdenominationsfromalloverByelorussiagatheredforamass-meetingoftheprotestandthen heldthespecialprayersforthesettlementofthisproblemevery evening during 8
months.
Finallythepublicheardus and ten ambassadors of the
different European countries visited us to show their support. Journalists
wrote in the newspapers that such a delegation would not come to any church,
especially to a cow-shed. This was a unique event.
Today our building is reconstructed; therefore it is a cozy, wonderful
temple where we constantly gather to praise the Lord. The faith has turned the
cow-shed into God’s temple!
BeforetheverysermonpastorViacheslav’selderbrotherPavlo (Paul) who is the praise & worship
leader of the “New Life” church came up on the stage and performed a song that,
to some degree, became an illustration of the following sermon called “What is
the true faith?”
After the sermon pastor
Viacheslav made an altar call. The people who had responded to it said the
prayer led by the pastor asking for the forgiveness of their sins and the salvation
of their soul.
